the madlads actually took all 4 dmc 4 characters, made them 1 character and then also added the drop in of other characters in certain missions part of the game

i like this
though i also truly loved dmc 5

It's funny because after the 45 min gameplay showcase, the first thing I did was replay DMC5 to get myself hyped for FF16. I can't wait to get my hands on this game that I will easily settle for the next best thing.

Maybe I'm craving DMC5 lately, I don't know. Still pretty bad at it though.

Also you shouldn't knock the game form having similar moves, DMC5 is so mechanically dense that it cover a wide base. You can easily do this type of video w other action game. (And I think FF16 did many thing different enough)

My biggest worry regarding combat was the eikon fights but after seeing moves that look like directional inputs on Ifrit I expect absolute greatness!
