If you are planning to apply it is important to check our online information closely in case rules and policies have changed. Here are some updates to the Orientation Video since filming:

What do I bring to the application?

Only items required to meet the qualifications of the chosen program. Resumes, letters of reccomendation, pictures and any other items for the interview committee should be brought to the actual interview. 

What do I bring to the Interview?

All documents such as resumes, letters of recommendation, pictures etc. that were not submitted at application (one copy). They will be reviewed and returned or recycled at the conclusion of the interview. 

What documents do I bring if I am reapplying?

All qualifying documents of the chosen program must be resubmitted at time of application.

ALEKS Test Results:

Local Community Colleges have replaced Accuplacer and Compass tests with a system called Aleks. Analysis of this new system has not been performed to determine if the score aligns with our program requirements. If using Aleks results to meet our math requirement, please provide a statement from the community college, on letterhead, that states that you would places into Math 95 (or higher), along with your Aleks results.

Veterans:


A military veteran of the United States armed forces may apply during any open office hours provided the below conditions are met.


Conditions:

The Applicant must meet the Apprenticeship Program’s Minimum Program Requirements as reflected in the Apprenticeship Standards.
The Applicant
submits a DD-214 form that documents honorable discharge from the US armed forces, Selected Reserve, Ready Reserve or National Guard within 24 months of the date of application; - OR -
the Applicant is an active duty military member who is within 180 days of the expected separation from date from service with an honorable discharge [prior to registration a DD-214 form that documents honorable discharge must be submitted].
Once the qualifying application is submitted the standard application timeline applies. The applicant will aptitude test the following month and will interview & be merged into the existing ranked pool the month thereafter.
