I know the feeling. Been like this for years and finally started creating and writing. It's more so therapeutic than anything else. It's about chasing that feeling of accomplishment and doesn't matter whether its great work or not. It's about doing something that you enjoy doing and creating something that you think is worth creating. Being a consumer is fun but not fulfilling.

Watching this video is a consumption also, but maybe a good consumption::)))
