New fear unlocked:
Sun Disappearing
I’ve heard it described like this: The speed of light doesn’t really have anything to do with light; it’s the speed of causality. It just so happens that light, having no mass, travels at that cosmic speed limit.
Yoo dude this is fucking interesting as hell, I hope to see more!!!
The speed of light is the refresh rate of our simulation.
It's so bizarre that Neptune would be chilling for over 4 hours while orbiting nothing.
Man that 1 second after minute 8 is gonna be fucking nuts
Gravity gets pulled over
Universe Police: Sir, do you know why we stopped you today?
Here is another fact:
Speed limit means the CAUSALITY limit
Effect follows cause. This is called causality.
Means the effect of a cause itself cant exceed that limit of C
“Why did you pull me over officer?”
“You were going 300,001,456 m/s on a 299,792,458 on the Perseus Arm.”
“oh shi mb.”
I like the little animation of the gravity waves disappearing. Really puts things into perspective.

"the universe speed limit" is a crazy term to hear at 2am. Guess I'll try to go back to bed now
me looking at the sun, scared that it’s not really there and the absence of light just hasn’t reached us yet
this man explained something i never thought about
“ is there a problem officer? “
“ do you know how fast you were going? “
“ no? “
“ you were going 301,567,452 m/s in a 299,792,458 m/s. “
honestly, todays physics knowledge makes the world don't seem that far off from a fantasy one, and thinking that the universe could still break all of our standardized ideas and paradigms as we still don't really know or understand that much about it, is kinda thrilling.
Imagine being the third friend who's just listening knowing he understands nothing
I've never actually thought about gravity not being instantaneous before
New fear unlocked:8 minutes later
Einstein made assumptions 1) that gravity was an entity and not a general effect - which is how Newton assessed it; 2) that this general effect was not a synergetic consequence (effect/cause) of the universal sum of everything particular; 3) that there is not (taking 1 & 2 assumptions together) an inward universal unit-tensile equivalent to outward fractional particulates. The formal symbol/reality of outward particulates is the tetrahedron; and for inward unitary gravitational cohesion it is the octahedron. Both combine in Fuller’s ‘isotropic vector matrix’ which forms the basis of his cosmic modelling of Nature…
