Shirakawa Suigen is a typical spring located in the southern foot of the volcanic group (central crater hills) in the caldera, and boasts an abundant spring water of 60 tons per minute. It has been selected as one of the "100 Selected Exquisite and Well" selected by the Ministry of the Environment from all over Japan.
