Yazaki is a conservative, Japanese supplier, but it’s doing something radical. It established a new business unit called Yazaki Innovations, to develop leading edge products far faster than the parent company would ever do. And it hired Erik Fleming as CEO to run it as a startup operation. Erik, who worked at Apple, Space X and Tesla, talks about how and why Yazaki Innovations is going to do.
