One of the reasons I love the Metroid franchise is that the only way you can feel Samus' emotions she is feeling is through the music and the situations that she is in and been through. This piece shows the daunting task that Samus must go through, her continuous journey that is getting harder and harder on her. Still the player and Samus have the need to power through, because nothing will stop the determination of both forces. As I get more into game design, this game is a big inspiration for me, because the best well to tell a story is through action, not words.

This is awesome. Super Metroid music brings some nice nostalgia. This game was pretty intense when I was little and this brings back that daunting feeling. Definitely fits for October >:)

I have no idea how I have not come across this channel before. Wow man. Excellent playing. You captured the mood perfectly. Super Metroid is my favorite game of all time and this theme, I would always just stop and listen to when I ventured deep into the depths of lower brinstar. The piano part in the song actually made me want to learn piano to play that specific part lol. Ended up going with guitar lol. This is the first vid I see from you and I'm already sold. Subbed.
