I’m a fireman. And as the nature of the job is, you lose people. You cannot save all patients. And I swear, when I lose one, I sit in silence and I hear music like this inside me. Almost like I feel honored to have shared someone’s last moments of life, but a slight shame I wasn’t capable enough to keep them here. I remember the faces. Not the names. I pray a day comes when they can tell me their names.

Edit/update: to everyone who has replied or will replied, I appreciate your words. I absolutely love my job. It’s an honor to be called upon during someone’s toughest moments. I’m not ashamed of myself in any way, I just think sometimes it’s natural to feel a certain way when you fail at saving a life. It’s such a unique and special thing, words cannot describe. Until I’m too old, it’s what I’ll do. Best job ever. ❤️

“May I just sit with you a while?”
“No child. Do not waste your precious time. Live your life. I will be looking on, and we will sit… at the end. Wheresoever you may be.”

@captainkade

I love reading the comments on these kinds of videos. Everyone is in such a euphoric, longing kind of state. Hope the best for everyone.

If Tears could build a stairway..
Memories pave a lane...
I would travel up to Heaven...
To sit beside You once again...

"And here I stand," she said.
"Here you stand," the Forgotten God replied.
"The last human being that will ever exist."
"Yes, you are, my dear, but it must be so."
"I agree, but I've always wondered, why must humanity vanish?"
"As things come and go," said the Mighty Skeleton, "humanity can't stay forever; the player must take off the stage. Humanity had the chance to prove its value. I didn't judge it, but it had the chance to show the good it could do. Even though humanity could produce mighty art, the hate and destruction it brought upon this world have been unbearable." The god was stern in his words, but fair in his judgment.
"But you, little one, you improved humanity's image in its last breaths, and I'm not sad that you will leave and take the rest of humanity with you. You brought some good to this world; you allowed it to begin on its long Healing Path. Now humanity will be gone with this last sunset. Life will heal, and Peace will come again. I wish you good fortune for the hours to come, as you deserve it. Rest, my dear, I love you as I loved the first human I created."

(Personal creation, inspired by this beautiful image that made me imagine this relaxing thought of humanity slowly vanishing)

" So, you are the one that fell from the sky. Legend says that you rose up to the sky to meet a comet. It is known that you hit the comet so hard it saved this planet but took your life. You fell from the sky and landed here. An angelic giant who gave their life for all of us here."

@shadowcluster5810

"All that is dead carries the echoes of life. All that lives hears the call of its death."

@professional.daydreamer

The background is pure art, I can't even describe the feeling that it gives me. Existential and yet peaceful in a way. Simply beautiful!

"My father used to tell me stories… of when he and my mother were young. He spoke of beings as tall as the oldest oaks and protected the woods from harm. The emerald plains of Iluvia, with Centaurs and Satyrs stampeding over an ocean of grass. The dragons filled the skies, their wings blotting out the sun like drifting clouds. And at night, deep in the woods, you could hear the Fairy’s Harmony. Father said that their chants were so soft and so full of life, you’d swear the trees themselves were listening… But now… the skies are empty. The green sea is dead. The music of the forest… silenced. And we are all the poorer for it."

This teleports a man to wherever it is he's supposed to be.

"Does it hurt?"

The skeleton slowly tilted it's head down to the human below, sitting and looking up to them.

"It does, and it does not."

The human looked confused at it's answer. "How can passing on both hurt and not hurt? I don't feel pain right now. Will it hurt when I cross over?"

The skeleton slowly shook it's head. "The idea of crossing, to know the world that you left will forever be out of your grasp. The memories, the experiences, the people you knew, all back in the place your spirit no longeris tied to. The pain of knowing it's over. That is what hurts."

The human lowered it's head, pondering the skeletons words with misty eyes. "So how does it not hurt then?"

The skeleton looked to the forever sunset and sunrise, the permanent symbol of the end and the beginning of a day. A symbol of life and death itself, if on were to dig deep enough into its meaning.

"Because past me," the skeleton then pointed off into the forest of large trees they pressed their back against. "Past me is peace. No more pain. No more hardship. Just....peace. What all you mortals really want in the end."

The human looked a bit frustrated with this answer and asked, "What is peace to me then? Some people see peace as no more conflict. Some see it as a heavenly utopia ruled by a god they follow. Some even see peace as nothing! What is my peace?"

The skeleton, ever emotionless with no change in their tone, simply looked at the man, and said, "That is for you to decide. You lived a life that befitted one such as yourself. Take pride in that, however you see fit. Whatever you find in there, is of your own making. I simply show the path to what you made for yourself."

The human looked down at his hands. He did not know how to take that. Whether it was because he lived a life of goodness or of contempt, he did not know. He did not know if he was ready. But yet, no one's ever really ready for their final rest. He then looked to the skeleton, and to the forever setting and rising sun.

"Do you mind then...if I can sit with you and watch this? Until i am ready?"

The skeleton looked the the sun, and back to the human, and simply nodded. The man scooted closer to the skeleton, not feeling fear from its form. And the skeleton simply waited.

Many mortals would have this talk with them, for it would not be the last time.

@MikolajPiotrzkowski

This is absolutely stunning. That ethereal, weightless vibe just pulls you in. I love weaving ambient moments like this into the middle of my own orchestral pieces — this kind of sound really inspires me

I love how the skull looks like you’re staring into space with the little holes of light going through it.

@divyaanand3382

I wish we were all a loving family... Sat among the trees and listened to this kinda music loud and just cherish the beautiful bond we all have with each other... Love is universal... No boundaries... I love u... U.. the one who is reading this.. ☺️ ... Yes you... ☺️ I wish you have a beautiful day ahead ☺️

@maribethshuman6334

As soon as this started I immediately began crying. I don't know why. There's just something so hauntingly beautiful about it. It makes my soul ache.

@ghostdragon2332

"What was it like? Watching it all go by you for so long?"
"It was strange, to know I had no part in any of it, and yet it still moved on."
"Did no one else ever find you?"
"No, they could not see me, nor could they hear me."
"Then why did you persist? If you thought nobody would ever find you?"
"Because I knew one day, someone would find me. Someone would wander here, drawn by instinct or by fate, to find me at last. So that I might tell them the story of this world, and at long last allow myself to rest."
"Then tell me your story, I want to hear it all."
"Very well little one, but it is a tale with no end, not until at last the world itself ends. And it began with a warmth that none can ever truly imagine, and from there it grew."

@cortezdekiller4261

I found this and I created an ocean in a desert. I am so thankful for all of these comments. Truly grateful today was rough. Much love. ❤️

@kyled4leadership

Why is this so good? Something about the big skeleton and the person sitting next to it makes this contemplative af.
