I don't know if you have seen some of my most recent paintings (ring of fire, blue dragon) but if not this one adds to the large canvases that I am using and I am only using paint and water. I also make my own base coat too! So excited to share this one with you. This one reminds me of a bright and stunning flower.

Today's Tutorial Information:

▶ Technique: Dutch Pour

▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with Owatrol Floetrol and water only - on a ratio of 1:1:3 - one part paint, one part water and three parts pouring medium. You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.

▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Light Rose, Perm Red Violet
Pebeo: Iridescent Violet Blue.
Winsor & Newton: Crimson

For my base color - I mixed a Zinc Mixing White and a Prussian Blue (both Daler Rowney System3 Acrylic).

▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
