Fun fact: Those new stories you read in the diary is a shorter version of the novel called “The diary of Ellen” which literally explains everything going on in this game along with Viola and Ellen’s back stories in full detail!

The hall of distraction no longer works in Extra Mode, as a lot of the words on the note are etched off. Thus, it technically doesn't form a coherent sentence/warning.
As for the scrap paper from the diary at 22:28, I think the blurred out dialogue is Viola telling Ellen how she wished that she could "take her place." In both the novel and the manga this resulted in Ellen hugging her tightly, knowing that this meant she had Viola's consent to switch bodies with her. Considering how in the other versions, this was a page about magic describing that casting a spell involving two people requires consent/ a bond of trust between the caster and the other person, I'd say it's very fitting.
