PureTech Reveals New CBD Pill to Rival Jazz’s Epidiolex 4K

Clinical-stage biotech company PureTech recently announced development of an oral capsule CBD candidate therapeutic for the treatment of seizures associated with rare forms of epilepsy. Currently, Jazz Pharma’s Epidiolex is the only approved CBD product for medical use. Unlike Epidiolex, which is an oral solution of CBD, PureTech’s CBD capsule does not include sesame oil in its formulation, which would expand its use to people with a sesame allergy.
