Don't waste all that turkey this Thanksgiving! Make this delicious Turkey Pot Pie from scratch! Easy tutorial on how I made these pot pies for now and later use.
Turkey Pot Pie
2 C. Chopped Turkey (or chicken)
13 oz. Shredded Hashbrowns
12 oz. Frozen Peas & Carrots Mix
2 1/2 C. Homemade Gravy (or 2 12 oz jars of chicken gravy)
1/2 Tbsp. Salt
4 unbaked Pie Crusts
1 Egg for Egg wash (optional)
Mix together turkey, hashbrowns, veggies and salt. Mix in gravy. Prepare two pie crusts in pie pans and divide mixture into pans. Add on top the last two pie crusts and cut off all extra edges. Crimp edges around pot pie and slit the top to vent. Tightly cover with aluminum foil before placing in the freezer.
