I cannot express enough how this short video discussing the daily subjects has made my day over the last days. Please keep posting these as it makes a world of difference to me.
It's weird that people act like Nepo Babies are some showbiz thing. Every company I have ever worked at has had nepo babies on staff. Whether it's a family owned business or a corporate where a kid of an executive has been hired. It's always happened.
Despite the common refrain that “it’s always been done this way,” I live in Norway, where it's quite common for public sector jobs to be filled by individuals who are somehow connected to the department or municipality—whether through family, friendship, or other local ties. In fact, unemployed individuals are often encouraged to use their networks to find work.
However, as someone working in the public sector and holding a master’s degree earned here, I strongly disagree with the prevalence of nepotism in our hiring practices. It leads to the employment of underqualified individuals, which ultimately undermines the quality of public services. During my graduate studies, for instance, a fellow student who showed little interest in the subject and submitted a poorly graded thesis later secured a prestigious role—likely due to being from the same town where the job was posted.
This pattern promotes incompetence, and unfortunately, it's becoming deeply entrenched. We need to acknowledge that nepotism is not just unfair—it’s damaging to the integrity and efficiency of our institutions.
Are people forgetting that many of the biggest Hollywood celebs from previous generations were/are also nepo babies? Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, RDJ, Jennifer Aniston… the list goes on. It’s not a new concept.
Yessss, in every field they take upportunities from others away.
Mother's projecting their personal experiences onto other younger parents is the most bizarre thing. Poor bloke might be dreading the next phase of his kids life for no reason. His kids are different and so is he.
I live in Denmark and nepotism exists here as well. I have seen leaders grant their child a job at the same company (*my observation while working there).
14:48 cheeky child! Liam is a legend.✊️😎
of course he has access to the best, he's learning directly from the second best player in the world since he's 5
Why does Camilla always bring up Meghan and Harry….and many people do therapy if they are under spotlight and high pressure role where people scrutinise no matter what in this case for getting therapy.
U can’t win.
Why does This Morning put two right wing commentators on together? Where is the balance?
Women love to go with their mates too.
Does Ben go an episode without mentioning he has two boys?
It really depends, I follow boxing & there many of them with famous fathers before them & don’t give it a second thought. It’s more for me when the parent is famous & the child isn’t that good where it’s an issue or launches some kinda money grab project off the back of their name that bothers me
The kinda title that tries to take away ‘special treatment’
Why do ppl, talk about this.. Of cause it's nepo, all parents rich or poor, would do this.
Yes if you have any ££ left. Ha ha
