A flight carrying a group of 59 White South Africans granted refugee status by the Trump administration arrived in the United States. The Trump administration has moved to not only admit but to expedite the processing of Afrikaners as refugees for alleged discrimination. At the same time, it has suspended all other refugee resettlement, including for people fleeing war and famine. #CNN #News

@JT-oq9eu

Imagine that.. entire families together.. not just military aged males 🤔

@isaiaspataca

Elon Musk is behind on this process.

@Jason-ho8wr

Well if that doesn't send an obvious message, I don't know what does.

@edsecce5685

As racist as it gets.

@khidirkarawitah2539

Pretty crazy that these refugees actually have women and children

@Tit4tat81

I am a Black South African, and I do not support violence against anyone, White Afrikaners included. This kind of rhetoric is exactly why Malema is losing support. The majority of South Africans are deeply concerned about real issues like crime and unemployment. We are not naive enough to believe that these problems will be solved by targeting or blaming Afrikaners.

This kind of divisive politics needs to stop. It risks inciting actual violence against the very communities it claims to defend, and no rational Black South African wants that. We are not trying to recreate historical injustices in reverse.

Yes, South Africa has Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies. I’m one of many who benefited from them, but I’ve also earned every opportunity I’ve had. I come from a historically under-resourced background, and while that shaped my journey, it never defined my capabilities. Given equal opportunities, many of us have proven that we can compete and excel. DEI has simply given us a fair platform to do so.

I earned my PhD in the United States. It wasn’t handed to me, I worked hard for it. And like many others from similar backgrounds, I’ve proven that I deserved that opportunity.

@cbs5925

Notice how they're waving the flag of the country they're living in, not the flag country they left 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@owaisinus

Trump says that genocide is being committed against Afrikaners in South Africa when the real genocide is taking place in Palestine at the hands of Israeli forces. This guy is out of his mind.

@breadmoth6443

>Afrikaners are not subject to oppression or violence
>Some guy in a political rally singing "delete the boer, delete the farmer"
nope... no threat of violence at all, nope.

@gonetiroyamodimo9486

The hypocrisy is on another level here 😅

@Dont_tell_me_to_relax

Notice how few people hate the white South Africans in these comment sections.

@Yash-Gaikwad

The message is clear as day.

@phillipgrobler5363

To everyone who left a comment below. I'm a white South African living in South Africa, come live here and see for yourself.

@noellah3104

Trump may not know it , but his actions will be better off for africans

@Petal4822

All families…not just military aged men.

@Steelers-rk3ig

Love how they are waving American flags, not Palestinians or terrorist signs.

@goyasolidar

This is so on brand for Trump it's not even surprising.

@lavenderface9875

We fled 20 years and I’m in floods of tears. President Trump and Elon Musk don’t understand how much we love them right now. I’m 42 and I’ve had 10 friends murdered in South Africa. God Bless America.

@techinallday8926

He is so misinformed it’s criminal.

@nexawave-w9p

The sad thing is - that these people will still get emails to pay their SABC TV licenses.
