When an employee leaves, it's important to make sure that they no longer have access to any company systems or data. This process, called the IAM leaver process, is an important part of a well-rounded security plan.

We'll talk about the most important parts of the IAM leaver process, such as the difference between a scheduled and an immediate termination. Here are some examples I've come across in my work. Lastly, some companies have paid the price for having a bad or immature way of dealing with employees who leave.
