I wanted to do more Abstract Art, using fluid paint, on different surface areas, using various tools and techniques. Today I am painting with a balloon and we will look at how we can use this to blend and create some depth. It's also about allowing light to shine through the piece itself. This creation is on acrylic paper.

Today's Tutorial Information:

▶ Technique: Abstract Art - Painting and Blending with a Balloon

▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with a pouring medium and water. I use good quality paints that have a good binder. My pouring medium is Owatrol Floetrol. I use a ration of 1:3:1 - paint: pouring medium: water. You may have to adjust your ratios depending on the paint brands you use.

▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Titanium white, Lamp Black, Brilliant Blue, Sky Blue Light, Turquoise Blue,
Winsor & Newton: Cobalt Blue
Pebeo: Iridescent Gold

▶ Hair dryer: When I use a hair dryer I use the Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting and the lowest blow speed.
