Easy Tips and Tricks for Creating 2d Cartoon Animation

In this video I go over a few quick and easy tips and tricks that I use for creating 2d animation, specifically tricks I used to create my last short of my animated cartoon character Frady Cat.

I go over some of the software I use such as Cartoon Animator 5, VideoPad video editor, and Paint net. I show how easy it is to use Cartoon Animator with 2d figures with a quick look at the bones, timeline, and pre-made motions. I show how easy it is to change sprites for use in quickly changing the looks of a character. I show how I learn how to create difficult scenes by slowing down old cartoons like the Pink Panther and using my drawing software to trace over frames into png images for use in Cartoon Animator. In this case I show how to make a banana look like it is going from falling in the air to falling flat on a ledge.

I also, show the trick to to making a cartoon character look like they are hiding behind a object like a lamp post that is clearly not large enough for them to hid behind.

I show a few examples of AI video generated cartoons and share my opinion and experience that I have found so far.
