I discovered the depths by dropping into a well. I had no idea that portion of the map existed. It was pitch dark, covered in gloom, and I was immediately slaughtered in a monster camp. It was genuinely horrifying

Then, I was riding my horse when gloom hands emerged from beneath me, grabbed me off the horse, and killed me instantly. Like WHAT!? Genuinely great, unexpected, terrifying game moments
