Stranded on an icy, lifeless planet with nothing but a few machines and a lot of hope, I had one mission: survive, thrive, and escape. But why just survive when you can turn this desolate outpost into a luxurious haven? In this chill and relaxing adventure, I take on the entire Cuboid Outpost: Luxury Edition modpack and transform a frozen wasteland into a warm, vibrant paradise—all in one episode!

❄️ The Challenge:
I’m stuck on an alien world with limited resources and a tech tree standing between me and my return home. But with a little automation and a lot of creativity, I automate my way through the modpack to build everything I need to teleport back to my home dimension.

🌾 The Transformation:
What starts as a cold, empty world quickly turns into a flourishing landscape where every inch of the land is buzzing with life. Thanks to Pam's HarvestCraft, I cultivate and cook every food imaginable, turning my lonely outpost into a gourmet paradise.

⚙️ Automation Goals:
I don’t just survive—I thrive by automating infinite resources, crafting complex machinery, and designing a self-sustaining ecosystem that practically runs itself. From barren snow to bustling farmland, this world feels truly lived in by the end.

If you love relaxing modpack playthroughs with a satisfying ending, you’re in for a treat. So sit back, grab a snack, and watch me Hobble together an entire planet’s transformation!

Hobble's Review.

It took me 11 Real World days to complete

Difficulty gets 1 Star - It's a good beginner pack
Progression gets 3 Stars - The quests guide you pretty well, but half-way through I did get lost on what I actually had to do next.
Integration gets 3 stars - Most things were default recipes, like Powah and Industrial Foregoing. It was all the same automation we've done in every other pack.
Repetition gets 4 Stars - There was a whole lot of "Craft Item A with Item B to get Item C", but that was part of the charm as it's relaxed and you can turn your brain off. Wither skulls was not a fun part though.
End Game gets 2 Stars - It was a pretty basic ending, though I have deducted a point because of needing only 1 bucket of Ether gas.
Innovation gets 3 Stars - It was a fresh take on a super-flat world, and I chuckled at the Custom Ore names.
Enjoyment gets 3 Stars - Technically 2.5 stars, because this pack was chosen since it was a great palette cleanser between heavy automation packs.
Time gets 5 stars - 11 days is perfect, the end of the pack wasn't a drawn out session of just waiting for 1M resources to generate. It knew when it had to end, and respected our time. Perfection.

That brings the hobble score to 46%.

The most impressive thing about these playthroughs is the amount of time and effort you go through to make your base look nice. Especially in packs like these that encourage the player to just build a lawn base and just be done with it.

@gazehound

This pack is like... the platonic ideal of an automation pack. No preamble, no beating around the bush, no bothering with coming up with new ores for you to hunt for. Just a superflat world filled with ore, and free items through singularities. I respect that

@sparkoflifeyt

Commenting as I watch, like I tend to do. I found out really early on that, for whatever reason, Fresh Water from Pam's Harvestcraft, has a hunger value, and is stupidly easy to make (1 water bucket gets 8 Fresh Water). That was my food source for literally my entire playthrough of this pack xD

@LiterallyMarty

Had not heard of this pack before. Really neat concept for resource generation with only the upfront grind.
Great video, as always!

@semadt

Thank you for doing this pack, it's one of my favourites. Also thanks a lot for the idea of showing an entire playthrough in one compact video. I struggle with watching endless episodes of a playthrough, always dropping out after the first few episodes. But your format is easily digestible even for me, so I just spent a happy hour with my knitting in hand watching your take on Cuboid Outpost.

@senseiplay66

Fun fact, the chickens that spawn with chicken jockeys are considered zombies and won't lay any eggs ever. To get eggs from such chickens, you'd have to breed 2 of them and the child will be a normal chicken and will lay eggs.

@gfifkry

10:00 Chickens from Jockis dont lay eggs so nothing was lost

@dragonfireinfernus336

the funniest thing i learned about this, is all you need to do for a repeatable and apparently VERY efficient food source, is putting your bucket of water into your crafting table/crafting grid. it makes 8 items of "fresh water" that gives your bucket BACK for MORE, and gives 2 hunger bars and 4 1/2 bars of saturation.

@kirkeby7875

I think Hobble can call himself a Minecraft modded master soon. When you finish Gregtech, you're truly the GOAT

@Timbo0o

Babe wake up, hobble uploaded a vid🎉🎉

@3zb9

the combination of "tutorial" and chill commentary delivery of this video is awesome. i found it engaging and also relaxing. makes me want to try this pack!

@bobbyslapin8099

This was the first ever pack I'd say I actually beat, loved this pack so much

@Monotone_01

I love the names of the ores, it’s a small touch but I love it

@Theminecraftian772

I really enjoy watching these videos. A relatively quick run through a pack, covering all the pack has to offer, without de-motivating me to finish my own play-through of my current modpack.
This pack was nice and chill, very nice watching it.
10/10 content as always Hobble, looking forward to the next pack you play

@SenyiKimmo

32:04 you don't actually "need" co-processing units to make a crafting cpu. it's just very useful since it lets the cpu distribute recipes faster for each co processing unit

@Daniellwith2l

How dare I not watch this? As punishment I have to watch this at 2am (i.e. right now)

@blazewagon5677

this video was so relaxing in fact that the outro music caught me off guard
imagine this is how you start a fresh minecraft playthrough. you have to return from being stranded in another dimension or place.

@Cincap31

"Not so gudium" is a crazy name
