AskMandR: With the rumor that we aren't actually getting a UT-AT I'm reminded of how last year we were told that the Dark Falcon and Jedi Bob set weren't happening but still ended up coming out. I personally am hoping that this turns out the same way as those sets.

6:10 About the Mexico factory thing, I very recently talked to someone I know has contacts in the factory and apparently the situation is kinda sketchy right now. Lego seems to be making changes and taking legal action towards the people taking stuff out of the factory, because apparently its not as easy as just taking a few pieces, putting them in your pocket and walk out of the factory, it seems to be a little more organised and complex, a whole shady business if you will... And Lego has already taken legal action towards some of them and they're planning to install additional security scanners so that nothing gets out of the factory unintendedly (just like an airport scanner, which is crazy to me...). So yeah, stuff is going on in mexico and the workers are not exactly happy with that, some of them dont even care for the Lego pieces and just want to be able to work, get paid and not get scanned every single time they enter and leave the facility just because someone is stealing...

So there's that... The guy who told me all of this is one of the biggest private lego collectors in my country (Spain), and he was kinda complaining sbout the fact that getting prototypes and test prints and all that kind of stuff will be harder down the line.

If you ask me, even if all that is true, im not fully convinced that the lego factory problem will be fixed in the near future but i guess time will tell...

I think the next LEGO $1000+ set will be an ARCHITECTURE related set. It seems to make sense since the newest LEGO EIFFEL TOWER was a pretty big set. I personally would like to see a LEGO EMPIRE STATE BUILDING set.

Nobody thinks of money in terms of what it might be worth in the future. The $1000 death star is technically the first $2000 Lego set is we adjust for inflation 50 years from now.
