Men in Black (1997) - Main Titles scene

Danny Elfman was nominated for two Oscars in 1998, one for his dramatic score to Good Will Hunting, and the other - which he should have won - for the quirky, propulsive and fun score to this equally fun film. Given free rein during the opening sequence, he composed one of his best themes, setting the tone for the mayhem that follows.

Starring Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Linda Fiorentino, Vincent D'Onofrio, Rip Torn and Tony Shalhoub. Written by Ed Solomon, baed on the comic by Lowell Cunningham. Directed by Barry Sonnenfield, with an original score by Danny Elfman.
