One of a series on shore fishing in Southampton Water, Hampshire (UK).

This video covers 2 summer, daytime sessions at Cowes Lane (filmed on 15.07.22 and 20.07.22), fishing the furthest south of the eastern side of Southampton Water, a venue which is regarded as part of Warsash. The first session was a success with sizeable black bream being caught; but the second was difficult, resulting in catching schoolie bass and an eel. On both occasions, I targeted smooth hounds, but only small ones showed on my first visit and not to the method intended for them.
