Tánaiste Simon Harris has said he was not surprised overall at the change in US policy on tariffs.
Yesterday, US President Donald Trump temporarily lowered the hefty duties less than a day after imposing them on dozens of countries.
In response, the EU has delayed its counter tariffs against US imports for 90 days.
