上世紀80年代，賽車界曾經出現過一個近乎沒有改裝限制的越野賽例。當時車廠積極參與，車迷蜂擁而至，只想一睹這些超過500匹馬力的怪物，在不同的路面上飛馳。然而如此受歡迎的比賽，最終卻在1986年，悲劇收場。
