Needles used to inject drugs are left on the ground all over New York City. The Department of Sanitation has a dedicated team to clean needles off streets. News 12's Lindsay Tanney followed the department along during a needle cleanup walk.

Vote out the do nothings!
People (especially children) living in these neighborhoods deserve better…
Unfathomable folks are okay with living amongst this and won’t branch out and try voting differently. Hard to feel any sympathy for them.
This city is an embarrassing disgrace.
Though our streets still have gangs that supply it to people.
They really should give this job to people who are not qualified to do other jobs..and YALL could be doing something else youre qualified for..we got higher ups pickin up needles all day now 😒
Now they do this so annoying how they wait ten years and they make a news clip this is not guna last long
They are a bunch of animals and that’s sad for the animals
