This time, I would like to compare how the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and the US Air Force's F-15s carry out their scramble missions.

Scrambling and emergency launches are immediate response measures to suspicious aircraft approaching Japanese airspace.

Fighters take off in just a few minutes to approach, confirm, and sometimes make warning flights to the target aircraft.

In Japan, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force monitors Japanese airspace 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Meanwhile, in the US, air defense systems are in place on the mainland, in Alaska, Hawaii, and in overseas forward bases under the command of NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command).

When watching footage of scramble launches, I often hear people say that the US is more laid back than Japan.

Why is that? What is the reason?

Military Channel 2 is a channel created to provide easy-to-understand explanations to people who do not have much knowledge of the US military and to help them deepen their understanding.

There seems to be some opposition to the explanations, but please understand that all videos will continue to have explanations.

Also, the narrator, Anne, is one of our friends and we appointed her.

This is my first experience, and I am still not very good at narration, but I hope you will enjoy watching her grow day by day.
