In 2025, Intel plans to launch Panther Lake, the successor to Lunar Lake, in the second half of the year. Built on Intel’s 18A process node (1.8nm), Panther Lake is expected to debut first in laptops, with potential desktop variants possibly arriving later under a different branding. This processor will feature the Cougar Cove P-cores and Skymont E-cores, paired with the Celestial (Xe3) integrated GPU, delivering up to 12 Xe cores and an NPU with 80-120 TOPS for AI workloads. Following Panther Lake, Intel will introduce Nova Lake in 2026, targeting both desktop and mobile platforms. Nova Lake is anticipated to offer up to 40 cores (16P + 24E) on the desktop, leveraging the Intel 14A node, and may include high-cache variants similar to AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology. Intel aims to enhance performance across the PC stack while improving power efficiency and competitiveness against rivals.





AMD CPU Roadmap
AMD’s roadmap for 2025-2026 builds on its Zen 5 architecture while preparing for the transition to Zen 6. In 2025, AMD will roll out additional Zen 5-based processors, including the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D for desktop gaming, expected in Q1 2025. These chips will feature 3D V-Cache technology, though limited to one CCD, enhancing gaming performance. For mobile and workstation markets, Fire Range and Strix Halo (under the Ryzen AI Max+ branding) will launch in 2025, offering up to 16 cores and powerful integrated RDNA 3.5 graphics. Looking to 2026, AMD is expected to introduce Zen 6, codenamed Venice, for servers and potentially desktops. Fabricated on TSMC’s 2nm process, Zen 6 could double core counts (up to 256 cores in servers) and deliver a significant IPC boost, promising substantial gains for gaming and multithreaded workloads.





Nvidia GPU Roadmap
Nvidia’s GPU roadmap for 2025-2026 is packed with advancements aimed at both gaming and AI acceleration. In early 2025, Nvidia will launch the GeForce RTX 50 Series (Blackwell architecture), including the RTX 5070, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090, debuting at CES 2025. These GPUs will feature DLSS 4 and Multi Frame Generation, leveraging AI to boost frame rates and visual fidelity. In late 2025, Nvidia plans to release Blackwell Ultra GPUs, enhancing the B200 lineup with 12-Hi HBM3e memory for data center and high-end gaming applications. Moving into 2026, the Vera Rubin architecture will debut in the second half, introducing HBM4 memory and targeting both gaming (RTX 60 Series) and AI workloads.
