Redshift Cruise Control System- Ergonomics at Your Fingertips

Ergonomics play a sizeable role in comfort, whether an office chair, shoe insole, or can opener. Surprisingly little attention is given to ergonomics for the hands of road cyclists, which receive a beating. With only a few exceptions, handle bars are either aero or round, with aero bars often accidentally giving superior ergonomics over the standard round bar.

Redshift Sports is offering the Cruise Control Grip system for owners of round bars to improve their ergonomics and comfort. Two sets of rubber grips change the bar shape and insulate a bit from road buzz. It's all wrapped up in Really Long Bar Tape, competitive with other brands' best bar tapes in quality, but extra long. They gave me some to review. Are the weight and cost worth the improvement in comfort? That's up to you.
