Do you need strength to achieve goals like eating healthy or working out? Do you need patience for a colleague who regularly challenges you? Or maybe you need an extra dose of gentleness and love for your strong willed toddler? If your answer is yes the Holy Spirit is here to help you, and the awesome part is you don’t have to strive or work for it. You only need to have Holy Spirit living in you to have limitless access to operate in all the Fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Just ask. Here’s a couple of pointers to help you tap into those overflowing gifts. First, when you are filled with Holy Spirit, he takes up residence inside of you. Everything he has, you now have full access to every time you need it! Second, he is ready and willing to provide exactly what you need. Third, allow Holy Spirit to express himself through your responses and actions in the situation. This means you have limitless strength of spirit to stick to your goals, compassion for your co-worker, gentleness and love for your toddler, and whatever else you might need from Holy Spirit to meet life’s daily challenges head on! The real discipline is not striving and working to have more of the Holy Nature of God…it’s about remembering to access Holy Spirit regularly. And, as you practice accessing and receiving, the process becomes more like muscle memory—automatic. And all the while, as we are accessing his nature, we are actually being transformed. So give Holy Spirit a try! What do you have to lose?? You will not regret it!

You have the Fruit of the Spirit in you!! - Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.
