Are you a dropbox user? Having duplicate files on cloud? Now you can scan for duplicate files via the cloud duplicate finder web-app AND save valuable space.

The CDF service applies 256-bit encryption, and is built using the Dropbox’s official API.

Here is how you start your first scan:

Create an account on CloudDuplicateFinder.com, integrate your Dropbox account with the application.

Click on add new drive button and follow the standard procedure recommended by API

Once you are able to integrate your Dropbox account to the CDF, the web-service will show you all the folders.

Select 1 or more folders:

You can scan your complete dropbox account, or you can use the custom scan to filter videos, photos, documents, or songs ….


Click on the Scan button to start a scan …..

Wait for the scan to complete …. It will be a quick process, faster than other software that perform similar operations at the desktop-level……..

As the scan finishes, You can use next button to view next record of duplicate files entries and previous button to view record on previous page


Click on Show Preview option to see the files’ preview.

You can view duplicates, groups, and see the wasted space by clicking on duplicate button


Now you need to review and delete those files automatically!

To delete duplicate files, duplicate images, duplicate videos and songs from Dropbox cloud, Click on SELECT DUPLICATE button and choose an option such as Retain Old Files …. And then click on DELETE Duplicates button

The deleted duplicate files go to the RECYCLE BIN or Trash of your cloud drive.


After removing Dropbox duplicates, you can check history of all the Deletion operations by clicking on SETTINGS button on top-right of the application interface

Keep in mind the Cloud Duplicate Finder will never store your files and passwords.
