"The Great Passage" is a famous novel which won the 1st prize of The Japan Booksellers' Awards 2012, and was adapted into movie in 2013 with Ryuhei Matsuda playing the main role.

Majime, who majors in linguistics at graduate school and has his home filled up with books, had an encounter with Nishioka, which makes his abiliby in language start to blossom.

This is a hot drama about the editing team of "Daitokai", beginning with Majime, who focused on producing a dictionary which is the "Ship crossing the ocean of words".
