Surviving tough times - getting old equipment running - carb clean, plastic welding, life lessons

Times are tough and getting tougher by the day. Everyone is feeling the squeeze, not just at the fuel pump, but EVERYWHERE. From inflation to corrupt & misguided leadership, everyone is feeling the pain of their poor decisions & policies. Here we'll get an '94 Murray rider lawn tractor running after sitting for all of 6 years, and we'll discuss tips for surviving through times that might be the toughest our generation has ever seen.

I forgot to mention in the video that if it were not possible to buy those polyethylene rods I was using, you can always take plastic trash, clean it and melt it down instead. Where there's a will, there's always a way! I have done this in the past with spray paint and brake cleaner caps. For the type of polyethylene I was working with here, look for plastic with a number "2" inside the recycling triangle symbol with the arrows. That's LOW DENSITY polyethylene.
