This talk is given by Andre Rogers, the president of E3Insights and a long time entrepreneur. His journey has convinced him that persistence is a common trait of success. Not just any kind of persistence but exceptional persistence. This exceptional persistence can lead to fame, wealth and sometimes both. But in all cases, exceptional persistence leaves a lasting impact on family and community. This talk explores public and personal examples of exceptional persistence and the great legacy exceptional persistence leaves. Andre Rogers is the Founder and President of E3Insights, a provider of virtual CFO, CIO, and COO services. Prior to starting E3Insights, he co-founded Enlightened, Inc., a 20-million-dollar IT consulting firm. Andre spent over 20 years serving as Enlightened’s Chief Financial Officer where he developed relationships and won over $20M of business with both federal contracts as well as commercial clients. Andre has a strong background in information technology with over 30 years in the IT industry concentrating in Software Integration and Data Sharing. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Computer Science from George Washington University and a Master of Computer Science from George Mason University. Andre holds an active Top-Secret clearance and a 2-time winner of SmartCEO’s Executive Management Award and MEA Magazine’s Leadership & Excellence Award. He serves his community in several organizations including the Prince George’s Chamber of Commerce and Leadership MD. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
