🆕 In re:Invent 2022, we announced Step Functions distributed map. That is a new feature from Step Functions that allows you to execute 10,000 tasks in parallel.
Basically, you upload your pictures, your files, whatever you want to S3, and then you create a distributed map that will iterate over each of these things and do something.
You can also upload a big CSV file or JSON file and distributed map will go over each of the lines and do something that is super powerful.
