Why would a vegan eat a "meat" substitute?
I don’t think plant based meat will ever replace real meat but it will definitely supplement it.

The expression is: "you are what you eat". That explains why vegetarians and vegans have as much personality and interesting conversation as any other vegetable.
"Meat alternatives" will NEVER dominate the food market in the United States, thank God. Meat alternatives sound dystopian frankly... Sounds like Soylent Green. Good luck with that. I can literally hear Charton Heston screaming at me, "Soylent Green is people!"

If it tastes as good, isnt more damaging to our health than meat and no animal has to die for this, this is a great thing!
The people that make their meat consumption their personality shouldnt be taken into account. Theyre acting like toddlers about it.
