Felix the Cat Times Six | Marathon of Felix Favorites

Felix the Cat is a cartoon character created in 1919 by Pat Sullivan and Otto Messmer during the silent film era. An anthropomorphic young black cat with white eyes, a black body, and a giant grin, he is often considered one of the most recognized cartoon characters in history. Felix was the first fully realized recurring animal character in the history of American film animation.

APRIL MAZE: (1930) Felix the Cat and his two nephews try to have a picnic, but a thunderstorm and a thieving rabbit prevent them.
ARABIANTICS: (1928) Felix is given a flying carpet that flies him to Arabia.
ASTRONOMEOUS: (1928) Felix visits Mars, where he saves the king from a comet. He then throws a rope to Earth, inviting all the cats to come to Mars.
BOLD KING COLE: (1936) Rare color Felix in which he visits King Cole.
CAT AND THE KIT: (1925) Rare promotional short for "Mazda" automobile headlights. Felix is driving to his wedding with a broken headlamp....
COMICALAMITIES: (1928) When an animator draws Felix, he is not satisfied with the results and attempts to improve his design.
