A brand-new timelapse video has been released, showing the vast scale of the ongoing work to revamp Spindles shopping centre.

Work on the Spindles is well underway and, when complete, will include a new home for Tommyfield Market, new events space and new offices for small businesses and also for Oldham Council - freeing up the Civic Centre for redevelopment.

To showcase the progress made on the ambitious project, Oldham Council today released a timelapse of the demolition and updated photos of the site. The visuals just go to show how different the area of Spindles close to Parliament Square looks now, only four months into the revamp.
