This is a very sensitive subject and situation when "children" are involved. As a parent myself, I know how emotionally painful it is to see your children in mental, emotional, or physical distress and in need of help. It is tough to balance and find the best approach in finding the right help for them.
It has been proven time after time that law enforcement isn't trained to handle the situation of mental health. They more often cause great harm rather than help. I am not hear to imply that I am an expert on the subject, but merely as person who may not be involved in per say the "incident" the "investigation" takes care of his fellow Americans by simply making sure they are treated properly with due care and without any unreasonable force, arrests or violation of their rights.
