From the DVD cover: Rogers Pass need no introduction for railfans. This mountain pass is steeped in railroad history, with many books and printed media documenting the challenges faced by the Canadian Pacific Railway.

Our journey commences at Craigellachie, a tourist stop just west of Eagle Pass, where the director, Sir Donald Smith, drove the last spike for the CPR on 7 November 1885.

We then head east. Eagle Pass is followed by an extended visit to Revelstoke, where the Monashee Mountains provide a suitable backdrop for rail operations. Continuing east through Rogers Pass, we pause at Station Markers Beavermouth and Fraine, before taking a side line trip along Donald Cemetery Road.

KC Junction at Golden is where the Windermere and Mountain subdivisions meet, both of which pass through town. East of Golden is one of the few places where trains can be seen along the Kicking Horse River, with the program concluding at the small hamlet of Field - a town that is blessed with 360 degree views of rugged mountain scenery.

Discreet subtitles provide location information.
