Montreal’s $6.9BN New Railway Network

Canada is building a 6.3 billion dollar rail network in Montreal, called REM. Measuring 67 kilometers across, REM will have 26 stations, featuring green and modern designs. The new light-rail network will slash commute times and generate billions of dollars in economic benefits. With construction almost complete, it is planned to fully open in late-2024.
