if you guys wanted the extended version out of a specific song, feel free to comment

Just finished watching the show, man the OST goes so hard. It has this chill Shire in the Lord of the Rings feel when it's quiet at times, then during intense moments the soundtrack goes another level. It's incredible.

I had heard about Frieren YEARSS ago when it was first releasing as a manga, and after hearing a synopsis of the story and the announcement of an anime adaptation, I decided to wait to see it in animation first.
God, Im happy I did. The music, fights, and just raw animation makes it one of the best shows I've ever seen. 10 out of 10, perfect show

"It's just a little show about a silly elf girl, there's no need to-"
Evan Call on his way to cook like Gordon Ramsay:

Evan call OST is confirmed for season 2! The battle theme for the El dorado arc is going to be legendary

フリーレンの楽曲は神がかってる曲で、闘志が沸いてくるし、冒険したくなる
@dannyzero692
I can't believe Evan Call wrote some of the most beautiful soundtracks in Violet Evergarden and then wrote some of the most hyped fantasy soundtracks for Frieren.
@daanstrik4293
Its a slow story exploring the philosophical ideas around time.
There is absolutely no reason for the music to go as hard as it does.
And by god am I glad its here
@Crey12321
Frieren The Slayer at 8:40 choir intro gives me a Dark Souls boss music vibe. And After watching what Frieren is capable of, this theme fits her perfectly
[edit]
What's also great which I didn't mention earlier, is the smooth transition from DS' boss to hero-like theme starting at 9:30. It tells us that apart from being so dangerous, she's still our beloved protagonist

I am in love with Dark Frieren now. These eyes ...
@AvalosTokyo
This anime is sould food for fantasy, and the sound track is a big part of it. I've always saved songs from video games or other media that give me that fantasy comfort feeling, but this whole soundtrack has the motiffs and each instrument is chosen carefully for that vibe. We're lucky to have it.
@mdtaj7563
This anime is a true masterpiece. The music and atmosphere is easily some of the best in all media I've watched in my entire life. There is just so many details and love packed into every frame of this show combined with a storyline which is both interesting and have a life changing message behind it. Also the pacing is just so good at giving so many information in a small amount of time without overwhelming the viewer. I've seen 537 anime and 1000+ movies and tv shows at this point. But this is one cracked into my top 5 favorite of all time with just 28 episodes. Hoping they'll make more of the greatness that is sousou no frieren

This came on autoplay in another window and I was instantly transported. I had been meaning to watch this anime, but I had no idea it was this epic. Now at the top of my to-do list.
@paulmares9815
The whole soundtrack is phenomenal, but the sequence from 10:10 to 11:10 gives me goosebumbs! Evan Call, truly a master of his craft!
@LoZTwilight
Honestly, how would a person not be standing in the middle of their room either pretending to be the director or the first violin with this absolute banger of an ost.
@MorningLightMtn
Himmel, my man, I finally, truly understand, that your tastes is immaculate
@mindphlux1899
Everything about this Anime is outstanding and a masterpiece. So is the soundtrack.
@borjakankkunen
Endless love to anything related to Frieren!
I saw recommendations regarding this anime from time to time (late 2023/early 2024)
Finally decided to watch it after reading so many positive comments (august 2024)
Within less than a week I finished watching Frieren.
I then started to look up videos on YouTube from people who made reviews and analysis. Also, I started to look for the soundtrack too, and I got here to this video.
Been 3 months listening to this almost every single day while I have breakfast in the morning. Also, rewatched the whole series again, and rewatched spare-random chapters several times every now-and-then.
Bought the first book of the manga.
Just finished reading it, while the anime's soundtrack played as background music.
Came to the comments ti say thank you. This is absolute awesome and we owe Evan Call so much. He made this incredibly beautiful music, and I can't stop listening to it ❤. I am really grateful and can't wait for season two!
Ps: after watching Frieren and knowing about Evan Call, I discovered that he also composed for Violet Evergarden, and I could't help myself but to go watch it straight away. Damn! That show is such a gorgeous masterpiece but also painful to the heart 💔. I loved watching both series so much 😊

This Woman is terryfing
@friskytwosauce
I swear did not know she can project such terrifying aura by just her gaze. That scene is forever cemented in my memory.
