End of the Road for this Old Hatteras Sport Fishing Boat.. Would You Keep Pouring Money Into It?

I talked to the owner, he said he had been trying to fix it up, but the boat had some termites, and that was the last straw. Tried to sell it, and even donate it, but no one wanted it. You see this a lot with older boats, unless it has some historical significance, or someone absolutely loves it the price to keep them ship shape exceeds what most want to spend. They usually are sold for a dollar/given away to someone that intends to live on the vessel, and after a few years find its way to the dump. It's the sad reality that boat's require a lot more than most people expect or can afford.
