I came into this expecting a remix of “Backside of the TV” in the usual Sapphire quality, but my heart wasn’t ready for the transitions to “Mass Destruction” and “Master of Shadows.”
You keep outdoing yourself.
This made my Valentine’s Day.
I just realized the album cover is Rise's shadow
That seamless transitions absolutely killed me, this is beyond fantastic work. Massive respect to everyone who worked on this.
I love how the video hasn’t even premiered and it has liked already. We all know it’s going to be good so we like in advance.

One of the most underrated P4 songs! Really excited about this!
Edit: Wow, I absolutely loved how all these songs were mashed together!
One thing I've always loved about Backside of the TV/Studio Backlot is how the addition of the second phrase to the repeat changes the tone a lot.
Like, compare the lines:
Darkness, endless, despair, fear no more
(Darkness) Lost destiny, (endless) far outcry, (despair) they hear you, fear no more
Personally I think it becomes way more hopeful, (especially if you only read the new lines and ignore the brackets) which is super interesting lyrically.
Memento Mori is a Latin phrase that may be freely translated as "Remember that you are mortal."
Remember that you will die.
Remember your death. Memento mori.
Instant chills. Amazing as usual.
backside of the tv is criminally underrated in general
This is purely awesome. You should do “Pursuing My True Self.” It doesn’t get many covers.
What I expected: A classic Sapphire cover of a persona song
What I got: An absolute fire mashup of Backside of the TV and Mass Destruction
This was amazing and completely caught me off guard!
I almost SCREAMED when mass destruction came on
That "Remember that you will die" just reminded me so much of Nyx during the boss fight. It's been 2 years and I still love this cover.
The announcer bit was a nice touch. I wish that sort of thing showed up more often
I wish there was a full version of Backside of the TV. It's just so awesome
Wow I wasn't expecting 3 songs in 1. Also the main cover is a complete bop
