Parthenope (2024) - Opening Titles/'Exodus' scene

This visually stunning film attempts to tackle various subjects, including the male gaze. Unfortunately, it's more style than substance, and no subject or character feels fully developed. Still, these opening credits are quite beautiful, set to the concert piece 'Exodus' by Polish composer Wojciech Kilar. The piece was previously used in the Terence Malick film 'Knight of Cups'.

Starring Celeste Dalla Porta, Dario Vita, Isabella Ferrari, Marlon Joubert, Peppe Lanzetta, Gary Oldman, Luisa Ranieri, Stefania Sandrelli and Ciro Capano. Written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino. Music for this scene by Wojciech Kilar.
