I want to make the doors operable, so I will cut them out.
Then, in preparation for lighting up the lights, I will modify the taillights. In their original state, the clear parts are tightly fitted to the body, preventing light from diffusing. To address this, I will drill holes in the taillight section and shape the interior with epoxy putty. This will create a small gap inside the clear parts so the red light can shine through.
