Here’s my new vocal and piano cover of Rito Village from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! Special thank you to my patrons for supporting this video!
I’ve covered many Zelda songs, but this my BOTW cover! This song has the melody of Dragon Roost Island (Wind Waker) within it, which was awesome to hear for the first time in-game. I stopped what I was doing to listen to the whole song. Even more exciting was that there are both day and night versions! This is a slight mixture of the two, with the tempo of day and the key/piano/guitar of the night. There are a couple parts where I added backup guitar, which I recorded with my keyboard using a midi plugin! I didn't film it, as it would be another keyboard on the screen rather than a guitar, and it's a backup part. I used to worry a lot about filming every single instrumental part and voice, but now I focus more on leads and the most "focal" vocals/instruments haha.

Any time I listen to the botw soundtrack, I want to go back and just explore the game for a while.
