HCARD robot operates in two modes: Remote controlled mode and Automated track guided mode. The robot assists in delivering medicine and food, and can collect samples of patient, like urine sample. This medical care device (MCD) is equipped with microphone and camera, which allows video conferencing between patient and doctor. This kind of robot can be deployed in various COVID wards of hospitals. I am sure such robots will be very useful in treating COVID-19 patients and assist in providing safety to healthcare staff.
