ℹ️ About: An audio recreation of the classic novel "The War Of The Worlds" by H.G. Wells.
This is one of my favourite science fiction novels and by far the most time consuming and difficult ambience I've produced.
My vision was to recreate the ambience of what a tripod invasion might sound like whilst hiding in the basement. (For the sake of realism some areas get very loud.)
This ambient world evolves throughout the 7 hours meaning there are no loops, resulting in many different intensities throughout the experience. These intensities vary from calming distant tripod and war noises as well as terrifying up close and LOUD encounters.
The final hour of the video also includes the 1938 Orson Welles - War Of The Worlds Radio Broadcast
