Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit backed EAM S. Jaishankar’s stance on Kashmir, stating that India has always considered Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as "completely illegal." He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir lawfully acceded to India in 1948, but Pakistan "forcibly occupied" parts of it. "Every Indian wants PoK to be a part of the country. This has always been India's policy," Dikshit asserted.
