ABOUT THE ARTIST: DIXON
Few artists walk the line between past and future as well as Dixon.
After rising from Berlin beginnings among the original pioneers of electronic music, he has evolved his sound into something visionary, running renowned record label Innervisions with deep house / techno duo Âme. His ear for the perfect mix brought him down Resident Advisor’s Top DJs Poll, after taking out first place for its last four years running. However, Dixon’s ambition has driven a calling into wider fields of fashion and technology with his Transmoderna platform, expanding what it means to be a contemporary innovator.
ABOUT CERCLE FESTIVAL
Cercle Festival 2024 brings together 3 stages, 37 artists and 24,000 music enthusiasts on the tarmac of the National Air & Space Museum of France. This majestic location features an impressive collection of air and space travel artefacts—notably the Ariane V rocket & the A380 and Concorde aircrafts that form the three stages of the festival. As a former airfield, it was the starting point for the first airline flights to Brussels and London in 1919 and witnessed Charles Lindbergh's historic North Atlantic flight in 1927.

Authenticity at its finest.
What i really love about Dixon is that when you would listen to some songs individually, it would be "meh", but listening to the mix it all comes together and is a great blend. Mastercraft.
You can’t play TRACKS like these… Especially at the airport… Because all of them are BOMBS💣💣💣😬😀

I love that this music still sounds futuristic. I got into dance music in the 80s and it was all about listening to music you've never heard before. Nowadays so much stuff looks back. No! Electronic music should always be pointing forward. Breaking new boundaries. Creation, experimentation and fun. This set is exactly that.

Dixon and the whole Innervisions team have shown me over the years a new definition of electronic music that involves SOPHISTICATION and MATURITY. That's what I find in the sound of these guys. He is your DJ's favorite DJ. It's the creativity that delivers exactly what you expect in a set. It's the strange sounds that, after the second drop, blend in a perfectly calculated way. I am increasingly impressed with what this team continues to deliver.
